  • Legal Risk Placement
    The process by which potential adoptive parents become foster parents to children whose parental rights are not terminated with the intent to adopt after termination occurs.
  • Legal Services Initiative
    A program that addresses barriers within the legal process that delay permanency. LSI places paralegals in agency offices to complete legal work, identify and resolve legal barriers and to bridge the gap between the legal community and child welfare system. 
  • Legal-Risk Family

  • Life Book
    A pictorial and written representation of a child’s life that helps them understand what has happened to them during their life. Some information to be included would be birth parent information, birth place, siblings, significant others in their life, places they have lived, etc.
  • LSI
